La Cátedra Unesco de Investigación en Comunicación y África. [AfriCom], promovida por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos centra su actividad en el campo de la investigación de alto nivel y la docencia en comunicación con un enfoque especial en África. Esta opción estratégica se propone fomentar la investigación en los estudios de comunicación, así como la mejora del proceso de desarrollo de África a través de la promoción de la libertad de expresión y de los procesos de comunicación liberadores.
